Rundfunkmoderator Thomas Brockmann hat nach dem (Jahrhundert)-Hochwasser verschiedene Künstler angesprochen, um bei einem Konzert zu Gunsten Betroffener in der Melanchthonstadt mitzuwirken. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist ein Programm entstanden, das sich sehen und vor allem auch hören lassen kann. Die Stadt Bretten und alle beteiligten Künstler laden zum "Let's Dance-Benefiz Live in Bretten" herzlich ein. Die Benefizveranstaltung steht unter der Schirmherrschaft von Oberbürgermeister Martin Wolff. Mit dabei: Eine der abgesagtesten Formationen mit der charmanten und professionellen Sängerin und Publikumsliebling "Miss Kavila". Sie wird live mit ihrer Band für tolle Stimmung sorgen. Harry Klenk "der Chef" vom "Holztrio", wird live & unplugged Songs zum Besten geben die begeistern werden. Antje Schumacher, vielen noch als Frontfrau aus der frühen Zeit der NDW-Band "Knutschfleck" bestens bekannt, bringt mit ihrer Ukulele & Wortwitz das Publikum garantiert zum Lachen. Sonya Sommer wird schon als "Sahnehäubchen des neuen deutschen Schlagers" tituliert und gibt in Bretten ihre musikalische Visitenkarte ab. Die Lokalmatadorin Jennifer Loosemore konnte ebenfalls für das Benefizkonzert gewonnen werden und wird ihre allerneuesten Titel vorstellen. Thomas Brockmann, der die Idee und Initiative für diese Benefizveranstaltung hatte, übernimmt die Moderation. Unterstützung zugesagt haben auch, Hans Buschbach, er sorgt für den guten Ton, Holger Appenzeller und Fabian Schmid sind für eine perfekte Lightshow zuständig. Bereits vor der Veranstaltung hat das Autohaus Albert Melter, Kürnbach eine Spende in Höhe von 500,- € bestätigt. Der Fanfarenzug Bretten 1504 e.V. sort für den gastronomischen Teil der Veranstaltung. Alle Beteiligten verzichten komplett auf Gagen & Honorare. Alle Umsätze & Einnahmen der Veranstaltung gehen an die Stadt Bretten für die Hochwassergeschädigten Vereine.
