Bauerbach

Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 778. Seit 1972 ist Bauerbach Stadtteil von Bretten und hat aktuell ca. 1.300 Einwohner. Sehenswert ist das Rathaus aus dem Jahr 1585. 

Die Gemarkung Bauerbach ist ca. 900 ha groß. Davon sind 200 ha Wald und 614 ha landwirtschaftliche Nutzfläche. Die Fläche des Ortsetters beträgt 34 ha. Sonstige Flächen (Straßen, Bahn u.ä.) belegen 35 ha.

Erste Nennung 1290. Seit 1974 Stadtteil von Bretten. Rund 1.530 Einwohner.
 
Nördlich von Bretten liegt – idyllisch in die Kraichgaulandschaft eingebettet – das Dorf Büchig, welches seit dem 1.1.1974 ein Stadtteil der Großen Kreisstadt Bretten ist. Die erste urkundliche Nachricht über Büchig stammt aus dem Jahr 1290. Zwei inhaltlich zusammengehörende Urkunden von 1290 und 1296 erwähnten erstmals den Ortsnamen. Darin wird ein Hof in – Buche – erwähnt, den Heinrich von Eberstein den Gebrüdern Heinrich und Johann, genannt Wurme zu Bretten, zum Lehen gab.

Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 767. Seit 1975 ist Diedelsheim Stadtteil von Bretten. Rund 3.500 Einwohner. Stadtbahnanschluß (S9). 

Lage:
Die Gemarkung Diedelsheim ist ca. 707 ha groß. Davon sind ca. 188 ha Wald und ca. 396 ha landwirtschaftlich genutzte Fläche.

Dürrenbüchig

Dürrenbüchig mit Wappen

Dürrenbüchig wurde 1335 erstmals urkundlich genannt. Ab 1703 ist der Ort eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Seit 01. Juni 1972 ist Dürrenbüchig ein Stadtteil der Großen Kreisstadt Bretten. Derzeit hat der Stadtteil rd. 550 Einwohner.
 
Lage:
Der Kirchturm von Dürrenbüchig ist genau 4451 m von der Kirchturmspitze der Stiftskirche in Bretten entfernt. Das Dorf liegt auf 8,6° östlicher Länge und 49,025° nördlicher Breite, mitten im Kraichgau, 210 M.ü.M, mit dem Lugenberg als seiner höchsten Erhebung 265 M.ü.M. Die typische Landschaft - sanfte Hügel, Streuobstwiesen und Hohlwege - lädt zum Wandern und Radfahren ein. Die gut ausgeschilderten Rad- und Wanderwege werden gerne genutzt.

Gölshausen

Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung datiert aus dem Jahr 802. Seit 1975 ist Gölshausen Stadtteil von Bretten und hat rd. 1.800 Einwohner. Stadtbahnanschluß (S4).
 
Die Gemarkungsfläche beträgt 498 ha und besteht fast ausschließlich aus Feldfläche. Die bebaute Fläche liegt bei ca. 83 ha.
 
Gölshausen verfügt über das größte Industriegebiet auf Brettener Gemarkung.

Rinklingen

Rinklingen - Ansicht mit Wappen

Erste urkundliche Nennung im Jahre 768. Seit 1971 Stadtteil von Bretten. Rund 1.990 Einwohner. Stadtbahnanschluß (S4). 
  
Der älteste Stadtteil von Bretten ist Rinklingen. Bedingt durch seine Lage und Verbundenheit mit Bretten entschloss sich 1972 der damalige Gemeinderat von Rinklingen zur Eingemeindung in die Stadt Bretten. Allerdings bedeutete dies für die Rinklinger keine Kapitulation sondern im Gegenteil, es führte zu einer Besinnung auf die Eigenständigkeit.

Sprantal wurde erstmals urkundliche 1261 erwähnt. Seit 01.01.1973 ist Sprantal ein Stadtteil von Bretten mit 395 Einwohnern.
 
Lage:
Sprantal hat eine Gemarkungsfläche von rd. 252 ha. Davon sind ca. 122 ha Wald und 122 ha landwirtschaftlich genutzte Fläche. Der Ortsetter umfasst 8 ha.
